Below are the key dates for Konkou Biznis Ayiti’s 2010 application cycle. AIDG’s selection process has three rounds. In Round 1, the pool of applicants is narrowed down to six semifinalist teams. After completing a series of intensive business training sessions, the applicants compete in front a jury of national and international experts. The three most competitive teams proceed to the final selection phase. The ultimate winner is chosen by AIDG’s board of directors.

Contest begins. Application available on website.

October 13 2010

Pre-application deadline. Applications submitted by this date will be reviewed and briefly commented by AIDG staff. Corrected applications can be re-submitted.

October 29 2010

Application deadline. All applications (new or updated) must be submitted by email by 5PM EST.

December 1st 2010

6 teams selected for the semi-finals.

February 5 to 12 2011

Intensive business training sessions with the 6 semi-finalist teams.

March 26 2011

Semi-finalists compete in front of a jury of 6-8 national and international experts.

March 27 2011

The judges select the top 3 teams to proceed to the finals

May 2 2011

AIDG's Board of Directors chooses the winner.
