Conditions d’admission / Termes et conditions

Qui peut s’inscrire?

• Le concours de Business Plan “Konkou Biznis Ayiti” est ouvert aux individus et aux partenariats comprenant pas plus de deux personnes. Ces individus ou partenariats peut faire partie d'une plus grande équipe, mais seulement les contributions des meneurs d'équipe (les participants) sera considérée dans le processus de jugement.
• Pour participer et être admissible à gagner, au moins une personne par bulletins de participation doit être résidant en Haïti avec la citoyenneté haïtienne. Dans le cas des équipes avec une personne sans résidence haïtienne, le résidant haïtien doit faire la présentation d'équipe pour la période de jugement.
• Tous les participants doivent être âgés d´au moins 24 ans.
• Les participants doivent indiquer leurs coordonnées, en particulier un email et numéro de téléphone valides.
• Les participants doivent avoir un casier judiciaire vierge.
• Si le participant est choisi comme finaliste, il doit voyager à Cap Haitien pour participer à la formation et à l'évaluation obligatoires de 29 mars à 4 avril 2009.
• Si le participant est choisi comme gagnant, il doit s'engager à travailler à plein temps (c’est à dire 35 heures ou plus par semaine) pour developer la jeune entreprise (startup) pendant au moins 2 années. Note: Les étudiants qui s'inscrivent devraient noter qu'ils ne seront pas admissibles si le lancement de leur entreprise est suspendu à cause des conflits avec leurs études.
• Ceux qui n'arrivent pas à atteindre les conditions d'admissibilité ne seront pas considérés ou seront éliminés.

Comment s’inscrire

• Le thème du Konkou Biznis Ayiti courant est le biogas, un contribuant sur a la resolution du probleme environnemental haitien.
• Le formulaire de proposition est disponible sur le site Web suivant http://www.konkoubiznisayiti.com/apply. Il doit être rempli et soumis par email (sous forme d’un document attaché) à This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it par 5PM (GMT-5, New York) le 5 février 2009. Les propositions reçues après que cette date limite ne seront pas considérée.
• AIDG n'acceptera pas des propositions soumises par courrier postal ou par son site Web.
• Des propositions seront seulement acceptées dans le format de Microsoft Word (c.-à-d. .doc). Si vous utilizez Microsoft Vista, enregistrez le fichier au format .doc au lieu de .docx. Si vous utilizez Open Office, enregistrez le fichier au format .doc au lieu de .odt.
• Les propositions peuvent être soumises en français, kreyol ou anglais.

Finales

• Un jury indépendant composés de personnel d'AIDG et d’experts principaux extérieures à AIDG dans le domaine du développement (société civile, secteur privé, biogaz et ingénierie) choisira 5 finalistes à partir du nombre de participants.
• Les 5 participants/équipes choisis pour l’épreuve finale seront contactés le 16 mars 2009.
• Les finalistes doivent être présents au Cap Haitien le 29ème mard au 4ème avril pour participer à une semaine intensive d'évaluation des connaissances et des compétences. Le jugement en direct se passera en ce temps-là. Pour les toutes les équipes retenuess, AIDG fournira de logement, repas, et un bourse de voyage pout rentrer au Cap Haitien d’endroit en Haiti.
• Pendant l’épreuve finale, les finalistes auront l'occasion de presenter des informations supplémentaires concernant leurs bussiness plan aux juges.
• La décision des juges du concours sera finale et obligatoire pour toutes participants.

Prix attribués

• Le gagnant ou l'équipe gagnante sera annoncé le 14 avril 2009.
• En total US$50,000 de financement d'affaires est disponible au gagnant/l'équipe gagnante.
• Le gagnant sera attribué une bourse de US$10,000 pour le processus de la légalisation de l’entreprise, l'achat des outils et équipements et les salaires. Il/Ils sera/seront admis dans le progamme d'AIDG “Entrepreneur en Residence", une partie du programme d'incubation des affaires d'AIDG.
• Selon les résultats de l’évaluation du rendement fait après 6 mois, le gagnant aura accès au financement par emprunt jusqu'à concurrence de US$40,000 sujet au faible taux d'intérêt pour supporter la croissance de l’entreprise. Ce financement par emprunt dépend sur le rendement de l’entrepreneur et est régi par les limites présentées dans le contrat de programme d'incubation d'AIDG qui sera offert à l’entrepreneur gagnant. Pendant la période d'incubation le taux de remboursement de la dette sera de 0%. Après cette période le remboursement se fera à un taux de 2 à 5% sur une durée de 5 à 10 ans selon les limites des differents emprunts. Note : Le gagnant ou l’equipe gagnante ne sont pas obligés d'accepter ces emprunts s'ils peuvent développer leur entreprise sans soutien financier additionnel d'AIDG.
• Pendant la période d'incubation de 2 ans, AIDG aidera l'entrepreneur ou l'équipe à développer leur modèle économique, fournira la formation dans des systèmes de biogaz et des procédures de gestion et reliera l’entrepreneur aux experts capables de fournir l'appui détaillé pro-bono.
• Vous êtes seul responsable des impôts, taxes et frais supplémentaires dus sur tout lot reçu.

Interdictions légales

• Le concours et ses termes sont nuls et sans effet là où la loi l'interdit.
• Aucune correspondance ne sera échangée sauf avec les personnes des entrées sélectionnées.
• En participant à ce concours et en acceptant le prix, le gagnant consent à l’usage de son nom, de sa ville de résidence, de son image vidéo, de sa voix et de sa photographie dans toute publicité connexe ou affichage Internet sans avis ou compensation supplémentaire.
• AIDG se réserve le droit de modifier les conditions du concours ou d’y mettre fin en tout temps.
• En prenant part à le concours, vous vous engagez et vous acceptez d'être lié par les règles dudit concours.
• Toutes les photos, textes, et autre contenu ou informations que vous transmettez à AIDG deviennent la propriété de AIDG, et AIDG n'a pas l'obligation de les conserver, de les rendre ou encore de les mettre à votre disposition ou à la disposition des autres.

Competition Eligibility Criteria, Terms and Conditions

Who can apply?

• The business plan competition is open to individuals or partnerships of no more than two people. This individual or partnership may be part of a larger team, but only their input as team leaders will be considered in the judging process.
• To participate and to be eligible to win, at least one of the applicants per entry must be a Haitian resident with Haitian citizenship. In the case of teams with a non-Haitian resident, the Haitian resident must make the team presentation for the judging period.
• Applicants must be 24 years or older.
• Applicants must submit a valid email and phone number for contact.
• Applicants must have no prior criminal convictions or felonies.
• If selected as a finalist, applicant(s) must be able to travel to Cap Haitien to participate in the required training and evaluation March 29-April 4, 2009.
• If selected as a winner, applicants must make a full-time commitment (ie. 35 hours or more per week) to the new business’ development for at least 2 years.
• Note: Students who apply should note that they will not be eligible if their business is put on hold due to time commitment conflicts with their studies.
• Those that fail to meet the eligibility requirements will not be considered or will be disqualified.

• The theme of the current Konkou Biznis Ayiti is biogas as one solution to the pressing environmental problems in Haiti.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it by 5PM EST March 6, 2009. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
• AIDG will NOT accept applications submitted by postal mail or through its website.
• Applications will only be accepted in Microsoft Word format (i.e. .doc). If using Vista, save files as .doc instead of .docx. If using Open Office, save the file as .doc instead of .odt.
• Proposals may be submitted in French, Kreyol or English.
• Only application materials expressly requested by AIDG will be considered in judging. Any additional materials submitted will be deleted before judging. 
• AIDG will not respond to inquiries or calls about the contest.  Any updates regarding the contest will be posted on this website.

Finals

• An independent panel of judges composed of AIDG staff and leading individuals in development outside AIDG (civil society, private sector, biogas and engineering) will select 5 finalists from the pool of applicants.
• The 5 teams chosen to participate in the finals will be contacted March 16, 2009.
• Finalists must be present in Cap Haitien the 29st of March through the 4th of April to participate in a one-week intensive skills assessment and training session. In person judging will occur at this time. For all finalists, AIDG will provide accommodation, meals, and a stipend for travel to Cap Haitien from locations within Haiti.
• Finalist teams will have the opportunity to present additional information about their business plans for presentation to the judges.
• The decision of the competition judges is final and compulsory for all the participants.

Awards

• The winner or winning team will be announced on April 14, 2009.
• A total of US$50,000 in business financing is available for the winner/winning team.
• The winner will be awarded US$10,000 in legal support, tools, equipment and salary support for their business idea and will enter into AIDG’s "Entrepreneur in Residence" program, part of AIDG’s business incubation program.
• Pending an evaluation of performance after 6 months, the winner will be eligible for up to US$40,000 in low-interest loan financing to support the business’ growth. Loan financing is dependant upon applicant performance and is governed by the terms set out in the AIDG incubation program contract which will be offered to the winning team. 0% interest is applied to the loan during the incubation period; an interest rate of 2 to 5% will be applied thereafter. After the incubation period, the entrepreneur will be put on payment plan of five to 10 years, depending on the terms of the individual loans. Note: Winners are not obligated to accept these loans if they can grow their business without the additional financial input from AIDG.
• During the 2 year incubation period, AIDG will work with the winning entrepreneur or team to develop their business model, provide training in biogas systems and business practices and connect the entrepreneur(s) with experts capable of providing detailed support pro-bono.
• Prize winners are solely responsible for any taxes, penalties and additional expenses due associated with acceptance and use of prize.

Liability

• This contest is void where prohibited by law.
• The only correspondence between AIDG and the contestants will be with the finalists and winners.
• Submitting any entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission to use the winner's name, city of residence, photograph, voice, or other likeness for advertising, publicity or other purposes online and offline without additional consent and compensation.
• AIDG reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest and to terminate the contest at any time.
• By submitting an entry, the applicant agrees to and is deemed to have accepted all of the terms, conditions, and regulations of said contest.
• All photographs, text, content or other information which applicants submit to AIDG over the course of the contest become the property of AIDG, and AIDG has no obligation to preserve them, return them or place them at the applicant’s disposal or the disposal of the others.
• As AIDG becomes the owner all photographs, text, content and other information submitted over the course of the contest, AIDG and its directors, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and assignees may reproduce, display and transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted works in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose with no additional consent or compensation.
